主要研究領(lǐng)域是信息安全事件檢測(cè)分析的理論與技術(shù)，包括信息隱藏與隱蔽通信及其檢測(cè)、安全異常行為與內(nèi)容取證、大數(shù)據(jù)安全分析以及相關(guān)技術(shù)在信息內(nèi)容保護(hù)和網(wǎng)絡(luò)空間安全等中的應(yīng)用。曾承擔(dān)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、北京市自然科學(xué)基金、863計(jì)劃、中國(guó)科學(xué)院戰(zhàn)略性先導(dǎo)科技專項(xiàng)、信息安全專項(xiàng)、各類部委項(xiàng)目等課題40余項(xiàng)，在《IEEE Trans. Information Forensics and Security》、《IET Information Security》、《Multimedia Tools and Applications》、“Intern. Workshop on Information Hiding”、"ACM Workshop on Information Hiding and Multimedia Security"、“Intern. Workshop on Digital-forensics and Watermarking”等本領(lǐng)域重要刊物和會(huì)議上發(fā)表論文90余篇，獲得與申請(qǐng)發(fā)明專利21項(xiàng)，合著、參與撰寫專著和譯著5部，主要提出了增強(qiáng)信息隱藏安全、提高相關(guān)檢測(cè)性能的多種方法，主持研制了多個(gè)重要系統(tǒng)。

2003年于上海交通大學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)與工程系獲博士學(xué)位

2003至2005年為中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)據(jù)與通信保護(hù)研究教育中心（DCS中心）博士后，2005年12月進(jìn)入中國(guó)科學(xué)院軟件研究所信息安全國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室工作，2012年1月進(jìn)入中國(guó)科學(xué)院信息工程研究所信息安全國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室工作

2015年，任《International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics》副編輯以及多個(gè)國(guó)際刊物審稿人，任“中國(guó)電子學(xué)會(huì)計(jì)算機(jī)取證專委會(huì)” 委員、“中國(guó)電子學(xué)會(huì)多媒體信息安全專委會(huì)”委員，任“2015 International Workshop on Digital-forensics and Watermarking”程序委員會(huì)委員、“2015 International Symposium on Cyberspace Safety and Security”程序委員會(huì)委員、“2015 International Workshop on Digital Crime and Forensics”程序委員會(huì)委員與組委會(huì)主席、“2015全國(guó)信息隱藏暨多媒體信息安全學(xué)術(shù)大會(huì)”程序委員會(huì)委員、“2015全國(guó)計(jì)算機(jī)取證技術(shù)研討會(huì)”程序委員會(huì)委員。
