主要從事次生代謝產(chǎn)物化學(xué)及其生物合成的研究。至今共主持三項(xiàng)國家基金。2009年入選“云南省中青年學(xué)術(shù)和技術(shù)帶頭人后備人才”和“中國科學(xué)院“西部之光”人才培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目。在繡線菊生物合成的研究中,用實(shí)驗(yàn)驗(yàn)證繡線菊二萜生物堿的氮源來源于絲氨酸;其后對安絲菌素后修飾過程中的酰胺N-糖基轉(zhuǎn)移酶(Asm25)和氨甲;D(zhuǎn)移酶(Asm21)的二重催化作用進(jìn)行了深入的研究,通過生物化學(xué)技術(shù),獲得酶催化的動力學(xué)特征,最后闡明了糖基轉(zhuǎn)移酶(Asm25)和氨甲酰基轉(zhuǎn)移酶(Asm21)在安絲菌素生物合成中的生物學(xué)功能。在Chem & Biol,J Nat Prod, Chem & Biodiv, Nat Prod Re等國際和國內(nèi)重要學(xué)術(shù)期刊上發(fā)表論文45篇。
