FRANE QUAGLIO ( 德國(guó)人 1844-1920)
This artist belonged to a family of many famous and talented artists. Quaglio was born 1844 in the German City Of Nurnberg.
He became famous and well known for his very detailed smaller pictures. It is known that often Quaglio used magnifying glances to be as accurate in his subjects as possible.
This particular painting was created in 1903. At that time Germany was govern by the king William, powered with military solders. Here we see a camp, where soldiers resting and horses being taken care of the beautiful colors and the freshness are well preserved due to the fact, it is painted on panel.
