在2002年4月解散后，Marion在2005年出了其首張專輯Here I Am，Marit則在2006年出了其首張單飛專輯Under The Surface，08年推出了第二張專輯the chase。
五年前，離開M2M的Marit Larsen選擇了留在 挪威繼續(xù)追尋音樂。她在這期間開始嘗試不同音樂，鋼琴口琴，電吉他，歌詞創(chuàng)作和歌曲制作。06年初，帶著對音樂的執(zhí)迷，她重新回到自己的舞臺，推出首張單飛專輯Under The Surface。而這期間，沒有過多的商業(yè)宣傳，沒有和Marion Raven一樣走當(dāng)時主流的pop-rock，Marit Larsen仍然保留著在M2M時的清澈。06年，新專輯帶給她MTV歐洲音樂大獎最佳 挪威藝人，Spellemannprisen最佳女歌手，最佳音樂MV，最佳歌曲三大獎項(xiàng)。
