傳記
來自倫敦的海默的父親即是一位演員，兩人還在電影Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story客串扮演過父子。2004年，他和Johnny Depp合作了《尋找夢幻島》，在其中扮演了激發(fā)Depp靈感的小飛俠原型的小孩Peter。片中他的表演讓Depp驚為天人，所以在和老搭檔蒂姆·波頓合作《查理與巧克力工廠》時，Depp力薦海默扮演片中善良的窮人家的孩子查理。結(jié)果他的表演沒有讓大家失望，也讓越來越多的人認(rèn)識了這個單純可愛的英國小演員。2006年，海默出演了法國大導(dǎo)演呂克·貝松的影片《亞瑟和他的迷你王國》，扮演片中主角勇敢的少年亞瑟。之后又在《一年好時光》里扮演澳洲天王羅素·克勞的少年時代。2007年他又與喬納森·萊斯·梅耶斯、凱麗·拉塞爾等聯(lián)袂出演了《聲夢奇緣》，在其中扮演一個音樂神童，2008年主演《奇幻精靈事件簿》，一人分飾兩角，扮演一對性格相反的孿生兄弟，相當(dāng)有難度，而海默完成得十分出色。接下來的兩三年間，海默都片約滿滿，2009年他還要為《鐵臂阿童木》中的阿童木配音。
