1962年畢業(yè)于復(fù)旦大學(xué)生物系。1981年至1983年在美國紐約州立大學(xué)石溪分校做訪問學(xué)者。曾任復(fù)旦大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院院長，國家高技術(shù)研究計劃生物技術(shù)領(lǐng)域?qū)＜椅瘑T會委員�，F(xiàn)為中國遺傳學(xué)會理事，《遺傳》和《遺傳學(xué)報》副主編，《生物化學(xué)與生物物理學(xué)報》及《生物工程學(xué)報》編委。
主要研究方向
1. 新型酵母表達(dá)載系統(tǒng)的研究和應(yīng)用。
2. 以酵母菌為模式生物進(jìn)行人類基因功能和藥物篩選研究。
獲獎情況
1990年被國家計委、國家教委及中國科學(xué)院聯(lián)合授予"為國家重點實驗室建設(shè)作出重大貢獻(xiàn)的先進(jìn)工作者"稱號，獲金牛獎。2001年獲國家科委授予的"國家863計劃十五周年先進(jìn)個人"稱號。2001年獲上海市科技進(jìn)步二等獎、上海市優(yōu)秀發(fā)明一等獎。
