人物簡介
勞瑞·侯登擁有美國加拿大雙重國籍。她于1972出生于美國加州。父母分別是演員Glen Corbett和Adrienne Ellis。父母離異后，母親再婚嫁給導(dǎo)演邁克爾·安德森。她的第一個(gè)角色是在The Martian Chronicles 火星編年史(1980)里扮演邁克爾·安德森的女兒。
畢業(yè)于U.C.L.A 美國加州大學(xué)-洛杉磯分校，是國家榮譽(yù)協(xié)會(huì)成員，同時(shí)獲得過著名的娜塔莉表演獎(jiǎng)。此后她就讀于哥倫比亞大學(xué)，并獲得人權(quán)專業(yè)碩士學(xué)位。
勞瑞·侯登是加拿大 Somaly Mam Foundation 索馬里-馬姆基金會(huì) 創(chuàng)始成員之一，同時(shí)也是該基金會(huì)在美國咨詢委員會(huì)委員之一。
演藝經(jīng)歷
勞瑞·侯登出演眾多影視作品，并收到眾多影評人好評，稱其角色選擇多樣，不拘一格。在她早年職業(yè)生涯里，在Vanessa Redgrave 短劇中扮演年輕的凱瑟琳，和William Shatner 威廉·夏特納出演電影TekWar的實(shí)物證據(jù)（1989年）在電視電影的探路者（1996年）中扮演梅布爾鄧納姆一角。
此后，在眾多影視作品中客串角色。在科幻系列X檔案中， 塑造經(jīng)典角色 瑪麗塔Covarrubias。還出演翻拍MGM 米高梅的經(jīng)典影視劇classic The Magnificent Seven(1998u20132000) ,CBS。
霍頓的最知名的角色之一，是和金凱瑞一同主演電影在The Majestic 電影人生（2001）。同時(shí)還有與Dean Cain聯(lián)合主演的加拿大的喜劇貝利億美元（2004年）。其他令人難忘的角色，包括神奇四俠（2005）（她扮演了MichaelChiklis“前女友）。在驚悚片寂靜嶺Silent Hill（2006）扮演英勇的女警察CybilBennett。在根據(jù)斯蒂芬·金作品改編電影的迷霧（2007）中扮演Jane簡。在根據(jù)漫畫改編的電視劇行尸走肉The Walking Dead 中出演Andrea一角。
