雪莉·瓊斯是美國著名的演員兼歌手。1934年3月31日生于賓夕法尼亞州史密斯頓城。她從小就顯示了音樂天賦。十七歲時成為擅演音樂喜劇的明星。1955年，她曾主演過的著名歌舞劇《俄克拉荷馬！》搬上銀幕，她又飾同一角色，該片的成功使她在好萊塢名聲大作。此后，雪莉·瓊斯接連拍了一系列影片，到1979年止，據(jù)統(tǒng)計共有十九部。其中如《音樂家》（1961年）、《我發(fā)跡的秘訣》（1965年）等較聞名。
