呂世生 男、漢族、1963年出生、教授、碩士生導(dǎo)師。南開大學(xué)博士。
研究方向：英美文學(xué)
呂世生教授其研究興趣為：語用學(xué)與翻譯研究、口譯理論與教學(xué)、科技翻譯研究。

另外還發(fā)表了國際政治經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化方面的譯著兩部，合編口譯教材一部。
成就
呂世生教授為南開大學(xué)翻譯方向碩士。取得學(xué)位后，曾在中國石油從事技術(shù)翻譯共12年，多次擔(dān)任世界石油行業(yè)國際會(huì)議的主要口譯和國家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人口譯工作�，F(xiàn)主要為本科生及碩士研究生講授翻譯理論及實(shí)踐課，指導(dǎo)翻譯方向碩士生。
Prof Lu holds a BA degree in British and American literatures from Liaoning Normal Univ, and a MA degree in Translation Studies from Nankai Univ. He has an experience of 12 years of technical translation and interpretation for CNPC. His recent move is teaching translation and interpretation at Nankai Univ. Prof Lu focuses his research interests on Translation Studies. His publications have concentrated on areas, such as translation and pragmatics (Pragmatic Presupposition and Cultural Message Equivalences (2002), Text Coherence in the Translated Version of Hong Lou Meng (2002), A Study of Humorous Discourse Translation of the Story of the Stone (2002)), theories of interpretation and interpretation teaching (Technical Translation: Criterion and Technique of Interpretation in Technical Negotiation (1993)), and technical translation (Strategies for Technical Translation After Chinau2019s Accession to WTO(2002) ). He is currently teaching translation theories and practice.
