夏斌博士，現(xiàn)為上海交通大學(xué)電子工程系研究員。
人物生涯
發(fā)表20余篇國(guó)際國(guó)內(nèi)文章，被業(yè)界引用近80次。受邀發(fā)表國(guó)際會(huì)議主題演講2篇。參與2本英文著作部分章節(jié)。申請(qǐng)50余項(xiàng)中國(guó)專利（已授權(quán)22項(xiàng)）和國(guó)際專利17項(xiàng)（授權(quán)2項(xiàng)），近20多項(xiàng)創(chuàng)新專利在多個(gè)國(guó)際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中被接受。
參與國(guó)內(nèi)/國(guó)際第二代～第四代蜂窩移動(dòng)通信系統(tǒng)首創(chuàng)性研發(fā)：作為模塊研發(fā)人員參與中國(guó)第一款2G CDMA關(guān)鍵技術(shù)樣機(jī)研發(fā)；作為物理層算法研發(fā)團(tuán)隊(duì)負(fù)責(zé)人開發(fā)中國(guó)第一批3G WCDMA商用測(cè)試終端；作為算法負(fù)責(zé)人負(fù)責(zé)業(yè)界第一款LTE(A)預(yù)商用/商用產(chǎn)品的關(guān)鍵技術(shù)與算法研究。
擔(dān)任無線世界研究論壇（WWRF）數(shù)字工業(yè)融合工作組首任主席，合作組織2006年論壇大會(huì)及多次分會(huì)場(chǎng)會(huì)議。作為華為公司負(fù)責(zé)人負(fù)責(zé)中國(guó)企業(yè)參加的第一個(gè)歐盟FP6項(xiàng)目；分別作為牽頭單位負(fù)責(zé)人，項(xiàng)目第二責(zé)任人、子課題負(fù)責(zé)人和主要算法技術(shù)負(fù)責(zé)人負(fù)責(zé)多項(xiàng)國(guó)家科技重大專項(xiàng)項(xiàng)目。
是IEEE高級(jí)會(huì)員，擔(dān)任多個(gè)IEEE國(guó)際期刊、會(huì)議學(xué)術(shù)審稿以及程序委員會(huì)成員。
Dr. Bin XIA is a professor of electrical engineering. He received his BS and MS degree from USTC (the University of Science & Technology of China), Hefei, China in 1997 and 2000, respectively, both in Communication & Information Engineering. He received his Ph.D degree in Communication Engineering from Hong Kong University in 2004. From 1999 to 2001, he was involved in the algorithm research and system development of the first IS-95 based CDMA system in China and the first commercial WCDMA UE Emulator in the world as Research Assistant in USTC, and Department Manager in the Joint Wireless Soft. Research LAB of USTC and UTStarcom Inc. From 2004 to 2005, he was with Mobile Communication Group, Alcatel Co., Ltd., where he was serving as Senior System Engineer for the first commercial WiMAX system in the world. From 2005 to 2012, he was serving as Senior Research Engineer，Project Manager of LTE (Long Term Evolution) Advanced Key Technology Research & Development in Wireless Research Department, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. where he worked on Beyond 3G research, and LTE (-Advanced) key technical research and development for the first LTE commercial product and LTE-Advanced prototype, being a driving force in developing algorithms and network solutions for MIMO-OFDM systems. Meanwhile, he was a Post-doctor Fellow jointly sponsored by UESTC (the University of Electronic Science & Technology of China), Chengdu, China and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. from 2006 to 2008.
He has published about 20 papers in the areas of wireless physical layer algorithms, mobile, internet, fixed and mobile network convergence, etc. He has filed over 50 patents, with 22 granted and over 40 pending, covering WCDMA, WiMAX, Beyond 3G from physical layer technologies, radio access network technologies to Internet areas. He also has filed 17 international patents with 2 granted. He was also PI of the EU FP6 IST Project, and National Key Project of China,etc.
He was founder and 1st Chair of SIG4, Convergence of Digital Industrial, WWRF (Wireless World Research Forum) in 2005. He was member of steering board and vision committed of WWRF. He co-organized the WWRF#16 in Shanghai, and chaired SIG session of WWRF#16, 17 and 18 meetings from 2006~2007.
He is a IEEE Senior Member, he acts as reviewers for a lot of technical journals and conferences, including IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE Trans. on Communications, IEEE Trans. on Wireless Communications, IEEE Trans. on Vehicular Technologies, China Science, and IEEE ICC, VTC, ISCAS, etc. He was also TPC member of IEEE VTC2011 Spring.
