1985年畢業(yè)于吉林大學數(shù)學系，獲得理學學士學位；1988年畢業(yè)于吉林大學數(shù)學系，獲得理學碩士學位；2002年3月畢業(yè)于哈爾濱工程大學自動化學院，獲得工學博士學位。1988.6-1990.1在吉林大學數(shù)學系任教，1990年1月起在哈爾濱工程大學理學院任教，1994年破格晉升為副教授，2000年晉升為教授。

主持并完成黑龍江省自然科學基金2項、橫向課題5項、國防項目3項，參與完成省攻關(guān)項目2項，研黑龍江省自然科學基金1項，國防項目1項，獲省部級科學技術(shù)進步二等獎1項（排名第二），三等獎1項（排名第四），在國內(nèi)外學術(shù)刊物和重要學術(shù)會議上發(fā)表論文124篇，其中SCI檢索1篇、 EI檢索28篇。指導博士生32人，畢業(yè)17人；指導碩士研究生40人，畢業(yè)29人；指導本科生畢業(yè)論文25人。

組織召開“第四屆國際圖論標號國際會議” （4 International workshop on Graph Labeling），任組委會主席。組織召開“第七屆國際矩陣與算子會議” （The Seventh International Workshop on Matrices and Operators），任組委會主席。全國研究生數(shù)學建模競賽評委。系統(tǒng)工程理論與實踐、蘭州大學學報、哈爾濱工業(yè)大學學報、北京理工大學學報、哈爾濱工程大學學報、黑龍江大學學報等學術(shù)期刊審稿人。
