周京博士是美國(guó)萊斯大學(xué)瓊斯商學(xué)院休斯敦捐贈(zèng)基金管理學(xué)講席教授,終身教授,亞洲管理科研和教學(xué)事務(wù)總監(jiān),曾任負(fù)責(zé)教授晉升和終身榮譽(yù)授予的評(píng)估委員會(huì)主席。是清華大學(xué)經(jīng)管學(xué)院杰出訪問講席教授。獲美國(guó)伊利諾伊大學(xué)(厄巴納香檳)的組織行為學(xué)和人力資源管理博士學(xué)位。

周京教授是國(guó)際管理學(xué)界有關(guān)企業(yè)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力,創(chuàng)造力、創(chuàng)新與創(chuàng)業(yè)等領(lǐng)域頗具影響力的學(xué)者之一。她研究整合了動(dòng)機(jī)、情感與認(rèn)知理論,對(duì)企業(yè)中個(gè)體和團(tuán)隊(duì)的創(chuàng)新進(jìn)行全面、深入的理解。系統(tǒng)研究了創(chuàng)造力和創(chuàng)新的關(guān)鍵問題,包括:領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、管理者風(fēng)格、同事行為、反饋,團(tuán)隊(duì)機(jī)制等組織、情境因素與人格、價(jià)值觀、目標(biāo)導(dǎo)向等個(gè)體因素是如何相互作用來提升或限制個(gè)體和團(tuán)隊(duì)創(chuàng)造力的。她諸多研究成果發(fā)表在國(guó)際頂級(jí)學(xué)術(shù)期刊上,包括:Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management與Personnel Psychology。她的論文榮獲 Journal of Management (管理學(xué)報(bào)) 最佳論文獎(jiǎng),F(xiàn)任或曾任國(guó)際頂級(jí)學(xué)術(shù)期刊Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Journal of Management編委會(huì)成員(Editorial Board member)。她與Shalley教授合作的英文專著 Handbook of Organizational Creativity (企業(yè)創(chuàng)造力管理全書),是領(lǐng)導(dǎo)企業(yè)創(chuàng)造力和創(chuàng)新的權(quán)威著作,已被翻譯成中文和阿拉伯文。 應(yīng)Oxford University Press邀請(qǐng),正在和Shalley和Hitt教授聯(lián)合主編 Oxford Handbook of Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship。
從2008-2014年,任國(guó)際管理學(xué)界最頂尖級(jí)學(xué)術(shù)研究期刊《應(yīng)用心理學(xué)》的副主編,是該頂尖級(jí)學(xué)術(shù)期刊自1917年首發(fā)刊以來,93年的歷史上獲此殊榮的第一位來自中國(guó)大陸的學(xué)者。
周教授為Executive MBA (EMBA), MBA, 和博士等講授領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力,組織行為學(xué),創(chuàng)造力與創(chuàng)新管理,談判,人力資源,跨文化領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力以及全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力等課程,并執(zhí)教于管理學(xué)EDP項(xiàng)目。由于在研究和教學(xué)工作中的突出成績(jī),她獲得了幾項(xiàng)重要的研究和教學(xué)獎(jiǎng),包括 德克薩斯A&M大學(xué)最著名的獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)―校友協(xié)會(huì)杰出教學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。

曾在亞洲,歐洲,和美洲的多家企業(yè)做過咨詢或管理顧問。并曾在中國(guó)多所著名商學(xué)院任訪問或特聘教授。除本專業(yè)工作外,周教授積極為社會(huì)服務(wù)。曾任著名私立學(xué)校Post Oak School校董。
