1990 考入北京大學生物系; 1990-1995 北京大學生命科學學院，理學學士; 1995-1998 北京大學生命科學學院，理學碩士; 1998-2004 美國康乃爾大學醫(yī)學院, 生物化學及結構生物學博士; 2004-2010 美國休斯醫(yī)學研究所/德州西南醫(yī)學研究中心,博士后/助理研究員/講師; 2011- 中國科學院生物物理研究所/生物大分子國家重點實驗室/蛋白質科學國家實驗室（籌）研究員.
研究方向
具體研究內容又分為: 宏觀分子 (如蛋白質, 核酸, 脂肪酸和多糖) 如何跨膜轉運, 細菌蛋白質分泌機制 和膜蛋白生物生成機理等三個方向。研究手段主要包括X-射線結晶學和低溫冷凍電鏡, 并結合其他生物物理和生物化學手段。
