研究領域
1. DNA/RNA甲基化(DNA/RNA methylation and demethylation)
DNA/RNA甲基化不僅在基因表達、調控等方面有重要作用,而且在腫瘤、免疫等許多疾病的發(fā)生和防治中也具有十分重要生物學功能。本課題組通過建立高靈敏的分析方法,利用各種分析化學的手段,對DNA/RNA甲基化的和去甲基化的作用機制進行探索。
2. 代謝組分析(Metabolomics)
發(fā)展基于質譜技術的代謝組學研究方法,并結合相應的生物學手段,探索代謝物在疾病發(fā)生發(fā)展過程中的生理功能,尋找和發(fā)現(xiàn)新的有價值的生物標志物。
3.核酸損傷和修復(Nucleic Acid Damage and Repair)
核酸損傷與基因突變、衰老、腫瘤發(fā)生等都有密切的關系。利用質譜技術以及相關的生物學手段,對細胞內核酸損傷的復制、轉錄、修復機制進行深入研究,有助于人們進一步認識各種疾病、衰老以及腫瘤的本質,為疾病的防治以及新藥的開發(fā)提供實驗和理論基礎。
