1979年7月畢業(yè)于新邵三中；1979.9—1983.7在湖南師范大學數(shù)學系念本科,獲學士學位;1985.9—1988.5在湖南大學應用數(shù)學系念碩士研究生,獲碩士學位;1992.2—1994.6在清華大學應用數(shù)學系念博士研究生,獲博士學位.
工作經(jīng)歷
1983年7月參加工作，先后任新邵一中（83.7—85.9）高中部教師、懷化學院（88.6—92.1）講師、中國科學院數(shù)學與系統(tǒng)研究數(shù)學所博士后（94.7—96.11）、清華大學數(shù)學科學系副教授（96.11—2000.6），2000年7月至今任清華大學正教授和博士研究生導師，是清華大學首批教學科研系列責任教授，曾獲教育部跨世紀人才榮譽稱號，國內(nèi)外主要學術(shù)團體兼職有：《數(shù)學評論》（ZentralblattMath.）評論員，NortheastenMath.J.和中國《數(shù)學進展》等雜志的編委，中國工業(yè)與應用數(shù)學學會常務理事和秘書長。
