1998-2003年任香港中文大學(xué)物理系教授、系主任;2001-2003年任香港中文大學(xué)材料科學(xué)和技術(shù)研究中心主任;1998年至今任香港中文大學(xué)先進(jìn)表面材料測(cè)試分析中心主任;2002年至今任香 港中文大學(xué)科學(xué)技術(shù)研究所主任;2003年至今任任香港中文大學(xué)理學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)。
曾主持完成過數(shù)十項(xiàng)國外及香港資助項(xiàng)目。其研究工作已發(fā)表SCI收錄論文近200篇,其中有數(shù)十篇發(fā)表在影響因子為3以上的學(xué)術(shù)雜志上。
