1990～1992美國匹茲堡大學(University of Pittsburgh)先后從事博士后和助理教授(Assistant Professor)工作
1992 法國國家科學研究中心（CNRS）副研究員
1996 獲法國路易巴斯德大學高分子工程科學博導學位(HDR，法國學術界最高學位)
1998 (34歲) 聘為法國洛林國家理工學院（Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine）教授，在法國國家科研中心直屬化學工程科學實驗室（Laboratoire des Sciences du Génie Chimique）從事科學技術研究工作。
2004 法蘭西大學研究院院士(Member of the Institut Universitaire de France)
2010--至今北京科技大學化學與生物工程學院院長，教師，博士生導師。
研究方向
主要研究方向為高分子材料制備與成型過程工程：包括反應擠出、高分子共混和合金、納米材料、混合技術、聚合反應工程以及超臨界下高分子制造與加工成型。
主要貢獻
學術成就
在AIChEJ和Macromolecules等國際期刊上發(fā)表了70多篇論文、在國際學術會議上70多篇會議論文，獲6項國際專利、6項西歐各國專利，合作出版1部專著、7篇專著章節(jié)。
在國際學術會議上作了70多次報告，其中3次大會開題報告（plenary）和20多次重要（keynote）和特邀報告（invited）。在歐美及世界其它地區(qū)大學和企業(yè)科研機構作了近40次邀請報告。多次參與組織高分子成型加工國際學術會議。
1996年獲法國科學研究中心銅質勛章 (Médaille de Bronze)，2001年獲國際高分子加工成型學會（Polymer Processing Society）Morand LAMBLA成就獎（該獎是目前該領域在世界范圍內最重要獎項，每年一名）以表彰他在高分子加工成型、尤其是高分子反應加工成型領域的重要貢獻。
是國際期刊“Advances in Polymer Technology”編委，是國際期刊“Polymer Engineering and Science”的長期審稿人 (permanent referee)。是法國、西歐、巴西、泰國等國家7所大學化學工程與高分子材料科學學術委員會委員和顧問、歐美4個跨國化學公司高級科技顧問。國內主要兼職有：中科院首批33位海外評審專家之一、中科院“過程工程復雜體系的多尺度研究”創(chuàng)新團隊海外成員之一、華東理工大學講座教授、浙江大學“光彪” 特聘教授和蘭州大學客座教授。同中科院過程工程研究所、中科院北京化學研究所、浙江大學聚合反應工程國家重點實驗室、四川大學高分子材料工程國家重點實驗室和華東理工大學化學反應工程國家重點實驗室等單位建立了長期的合作關系和人才培養(yǎng)計劃。
