2006年獲南開大學(xué)微生物學(xué)博士學(xué)位。隨后赴美國加州大學(xué)戴維斯分校(University of California, Davis)化學(xué)系進(jìn)行博士后訓(xùn)練, 專業(yè)為糖生物化學(xué)。主要研究糖基轉(zhuǎn)移酶（包括唾液酸轉(zhuǎn)移酶和巖藻糖轉(zhuǎn)移酶等）的催化機(jī)制及其在碳水化合物生化合成（Chemoenzymatic synthesis）方面的應(yīng)用以及蛋白的糖基化修飾。于2009年底回國，并于2010年7月加入南開大學(xué)藥學(xué)院。目前，已發(fā)表SCI論文20篇。
