    楊維才,中科院遺傳與發(fā)育所博士生導(dǎo)師,男,博士,1964年出生。研究員,中科院遺傳與發(fā)育所博士生導(dǎo)師。

    個(gè)人簡介

    1984年蘭州大學(xué)學(xué)士。1987年蘭州大學(xué)碩士。1994年荷蘭Wageningen大學(xué)博士。1996-年美國Cold Spring Harbor實(shí)驗(yàn)室博士后,1996-2000年新加坡國立大學(xué)分子農(nóng)業(yè)生物學(xué)院博士后。2000-2002年新加坡國立大學(xué)分子農(nóng)業(yè)生物學(xué)院高級(jí)科學(xué)家。植物生殖和棉花生物技術(shù)實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任。2001年中國科學(xué)院"百人計(jì)劃"入選者。

    楊維才博士領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的創(chuàng)新研究組主要研究方向是植物雌配子體發(fā)育過程中細(xì)胞極性及其與運(yùn)之間的關(guān)系,其目標(biāo)是利用擬南芥為模式植物來探討基本發(fā)育生物學(xué)問題,并以此為模式研究農(nóng)作物基因功能。

    主要研究內(nèi)容

    植物雌配子體發(fā)育

    植物生殖生物學(xué)是一門傳統(tǒng)學(xué)科,傳統(tǒng)的研究主要集中于對(duì)生殖過程的結(jié)構(gòu),形態(tài)和組織胚胎學(xué)描述,由于方法和技術(shù)方面的局限,對(duì)其分子及遺傳機(jī)理的研究進(jìn)展非常緩慢。年來由于Gene/enhancer Trap等系統(tǒng)和激光共聚焦顯微技術(shù)的應(yīng)用。植物生殖生物學(xué)的研究出現(xiàn)了一線生機(jī)。研究組研究的領(lǐng)域主要集中在植物雌配子體的發(fā)育方面,如孢原細(xì)胞和胚囊中卵細(xì)胞,中央細(xì)胞的命運(yùn)決定機(jī)理等.通過對(duì)配子體突變體的遺傳分析和基因克隆,了解植物生殖過程中的基因調(diào)控及分子機(jī)理。而對(duì)一些基本的生物學(xué)現(xiàn)象,如細(xì)胞極性、細(xì)胞命運(yùn)的確立及受精機(jī)理等進(jìn)行更深入的研究,了解植物的生殖過程。

    以擬南芥為模式研究水稻基因組功能

    在過去20多年,擬南芥作為模式植物在植物分子生物學(xué),遺傳學(xué),植物病理學(xué),次生代謝和發(fā)育生物學(xué)研究方面得到了非常廣泛的應(yīng)用,其6-8周的生活周期,相對(duì)小的基因組,自交,易于遺傳轉(zhuǎn)化,非常適合大規(guī)模繁殖等特點(diǎn),使其成為首選的模式植物。該研究組希望建立一套以擬南芥為基礎(chǔ)的,快速有效的實(shí)驗(yàn)系統(tǒng),來研究農(nóng)作物如水稻的基因功能,為農(nóng)業(yè)生產(chǎn)提供技術(shù)儲(chǔ)備。
