人物經(jīng)歷
香港大學(xué)文學(xué)士、碩士，美國普林斯頓大學(xué)哲學(xué)博士。歷任新西蘭奧克蘭大學(xué)歷史系高級講師，美國哥倫比亞大學(xué)[明代名人傳]編纂處研究員，澳洲國立大學(xué)遠(yuǎn)東史系研究員，臺灣大學(xué)歷史系客座教授，美國華盛頓大學(xué)杰克遜國際研究學(xué)院及歷史系教授。1992-2000年任職香港中文大學(xué)歷史學(xué)講座教授，兩度出任系主任。1995u20132011年任《中國文化研究所學(xué)報(bào)》編輯委員會主席。
研究方向
專攻宋金元明史。
