研究領(lǐng)域涉及發(fā)酵工程、蛋白質(zhì)工程、基因工程。
實驗室主要研究方向為：
1. 釀酒酵母等工業(yè)微生物的生化與分子生物學(xué)；
2. 重要工業(yè)微生物產(chǎn)品的制備技術(shù)和發(fā)酵工藝。

主持多項國家、省部級縱向科研項目及企業(yè)橫向課題。其中代表性課題包括2項國家自然科學(xué)基金項目（30800018、30970058）、2項教育部科技項目。
