樂隊(duì)簡介
1971年他們推出了首支單曲《A Horse With No Name》，在英國排行榜上名列第三。樂隊(duì)的吉他演奏清脆悅耳，被評(píng)論界稱為"原聲版的Crosby Still Nash and Young"。在樂隊(duì)的 首張同名專輯《America》中，他們繼續(xù)保持了這種清新的風(fēng)格。在英國大獲成功后，樂隊(duì)返回美國本土尋求發(fā)展�！禔 Horse With No Name》擠下 Neil Young的 新歌，沖上了排行榜的首位。1973年他們被格萊美音樂大獎(jiǎng)評(píng)為"年度最佳新人"。
他們?cè)谟⒚纼傻囟即蠹t大紫，但是這種熱力很快就消散了， 1973年他們僅有一支單曲勉強(qiáng)打入了 Billboard榜的前40名。1977年樂隊(duì)推出《Harbor》之后， Dan Peek出于 宗教信仰的考慮決定離開樂隊(duì)，剩下的兩名樂手仍然堅(jiān)持錄音，但美國樂隊(duì)的鼎盛時(shí)期已告終止。
