1956 出生于重慶，自幼喜愛繪畫 

1971 向重慶著名畫家學(xué)習(xí)繪畫 

1987 劉庸之畫展在重慶社會大學(xué)展出，畢業(yè)于重慶社會大學(xué)美術(shù) 

      系（四川美術(shù)學(xué)院委培班)  

1989 加入重慶市美術(shù)家協(xié)會�！渡匠恰疯偳懂�，選入重慶市優(yōu)秀 

     作品展演周 

 1990 名入《中國當(dāng)代書畫家大辭典》《金色河畔》油畫獲得重慶  

     市首屆文化藝術(shù)博覽會銀牌 

1992 《陽光，高原和訪者》選入四川省美展，《川西草原》油畫 

      選入《’92中國油畫展》。創(chuàng)立重慶第一家職業(yè)畫家工作室 

1993 入典《’93中國美術(shù)家》�！督恿τ螒颉酚彤�，選入’93四川 

     省美展。被選舉為重慶市渝中區(qū)美術(shù)家協(xié)會副主席 

1994 加入四川省美術(shù)家協(xié)會�！杜Ｈ号c公路》油畫，選入四川省 

      美展 

 1995 《劉庸之油畫展》在重慶解放碑商業(yè)中心展出 

1997 入典《世界名人錄—中國卷》。由重慶市美術(shù)家協(xié)會主辦的  

     《劉庸之水彩畫展》在重慶畫院展出 

 1999 入選《中國美術(shù)選集1978—1998》。應(yīng)邀赴新加坡展售油畫 

     水彩畫。應(yīng)聘為市文化宮、少年宮美術(shù)教師 

2000 赴西藏、敦煌體驗生活，被重慶市人民政府派往日本訪問 

——現(xiàn)為重慶市最受喜歡的畫家之一，有數(shù)千幅油畫、水彩畫創(chuàng) 

 作品被美、英、法、加拿大、日等幾十個國家和地區(qū)的朋友收藏 

Mr. Liu Yongzhi  (1956 -)     Chongqing  China  

Mr. Liu began his career when he was 15 when he studied  

 with a master Chinese painter in his home town of Chongqing. 

Later, he graduated from the Art Department from Chongqing 

Social College, under the direction of the Sichuan Academy 

of Fine Arts. He has been selected to exhibit in many of the  

 provincial shows for young artists. 

Mr.Liu’s oil paintings are a unique blend of oil brush strokes 

which reflect modern and impressionistic styles. His themes 

center on life in the Sichuan and Tibetan landscapes. 

 In 1989 his work, Mountain City,was awarded top honors. In 

1990, he was added to the Chinese reference dictionary， 

Modern Chinese Painters. In 1991 his oil painting, Golden 

 River Bank, was awarded the Silver prize at the Chongqing  

Cultural and Art Exhibition. 

In 1992 his oil painting, Sunshine, Plateau and Visitor,was 

 chosen to congratulate the 50th Anniversary Art Exhibition 

of Sichuan Province.In the same year his work, Ferry, was 

selected in the 4th Western Painting Touring Exhibit. 

Grassland of Western Sichuan was exhibited in a national  

exhibit 

 Mr. Liu has achieved a professional status for his work both 

in exhibitions as well as having his studio registered as a  

commercial entity in Chongqing People’s Government. He was 

 appointed Vice Chairman of the Artistic Association of  

Chongqing Civic Center. He was the subject of a special 

program produced by the Chongqing Radio and Television 

 In 1994 he became a member of the Artistic Association of 

Sichuan Province.In the same year his work, Cattle and  

Highway, was chosen in the 45th Anniversary Art Exhibition 

 of Sichuan Province. His works and studio were the subject 

of the article, " If Only Seven Colors Can Enter Thousands 

of Families", which documents his rise as an acclaimed artist 

 in his province. Recently, a well known professor of art history 

of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts wrote about Mr. Liu’s  

works in the Chongqing Daily. To date, he has had 80 works  

 of art chosen for selected exhibitions. 

In 1995 Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts famous professor Mr 

Houzi, in Chongqing Daily publish, The Comment Liu yongzhi 

 oil painting artist. he was write down ’ 93 Arts China, Liu  

yongzhi oil painting Artiste Exhibition be show on. The  

Chongqing Daily, Chongqing evening Paper, Radio, TV and 

 China TV special Subject news in Chongqing. 

1997 get into WHO’ S WHO IN THE WORLD-CHINA Liu

In 1999 to Singapore Raffles City shopping Centre Exhibiton 

 Water color and Oil paintings, get into «1978-1998 FINE ARTS 

SELECTED WORKS CHINA». 

In 2000,he went to Tibet and Dunhuang for experienced life.He 

  ——was gone to Japan by government in Chongqing 

Now,he is one of the best favourite painters,the thousands of  

oil canvas and watercolor paintings were stowed by many
