凱文·史密斯 - 簡介
1970年，凱文·史密斯出生于新澤西，凱文一向以新澤西為榮，在他的電影中觀眾不難發(fā)現。23歲時，正當年少氣盛的凱文湊齊了25000美元，拉著幾個便利店的同事開始拍片。由于凱文的劇本都是根據自己在店里的日常生活編寫，所以每個角色都有凱文同事們的影子，因此這幫從沒演過戲的家伙演起來也特別傳神。這部戲幾乎沒有外景，全都在便利店完成，為此，凱文他們還特地拜托老板借出場地，老板同意他們在不影響工作的情況下，晚上下班關門后來拍。于是凱文和他的伙伴們每天下班就從家里把器材抬到店里拍戲，因為人手和資金不足，影片的場景只能限定在店內，全片唯一算得上外景的場面就是幾個人來到附近的教堂前，嬉鬧般的對著教堂門口拍了一兩個鏡頭就又回到店里。
始料不及的是，這部用16毫米黑白膠片拍出來的同期錄音的小玩意，先是在圣丹斯電影節(jié)大獲全勝，隨后又在戛納摘得兩個獎項。米拉麥克斯公司很快將影片推上大銀幕，這部極低成本的《瘋狂店員》在96個影院上映后拿下了315萬美元的票房。處女作的成功讓凱文繼續(xù)下去。1995年，他的第二部影片《�？嵋蛔濉冯m然在影院票房并不成功，但卻成為熱門錄影帶，并在他的影迷中受到追捧。在拍攝《�？嵋蛔濉菲陂g，凱文結識了本·阿弗萊克、杰森·李和女友喬伊·勞倫·亞當斯。他能和亞當斯走到一起是因為下部作品《猜·情·尋》，而當影片完成時兩人也走到了終點。隨著該片贏得獨立精神獎的最佳劇本獎和最佳男配角獎，凱文遇到了日后的妻子珍妮佛。
凱文之后又拍攝了《怒犯天條》、《白爛賤客》、《澤西女孩》和《瘋狂店員2》等影片，同時他還在編劇、制作以及表演領域闖出自己的一片天地。他還開有一家漫畫書店、一個制片公司，平時還為雜志撰稿和拍攝短片。
