萬惠霖 - 簡介
萬惠霖教授,1938年11月20日生于湖北武漢。1966年初廈門大學(xué)化學(xué)系催化理論方向研究生畢業(yè),此后留校任教至今。長期從事物理化學(xué)催化方面的科研和教學(xué)工作。1997年被選為中國科學(xué)院院士。萬惠霖現(xiàn)任廈門大學(xué)化學(xué)化工學(xué)院院長,固體表面物理化學(xué)國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任,《分子催化》副主編,《高等學(xué)校化學(xué)學(xué)報(bào)》和《催化學(xué)報(bào)》編委,中國化學(xué)會(huì)常務(wù)理事;曾任國家教委科技委委員和中國化學(xué)會(huì)催化專業(yè)委員會(huì)主任。
目前研究興趣:催化劑活性中心(或活性物種)、動(dòng)態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)和催化反應(yīng)機(jī)理的原位表征,催化作用的理論模擬等。
萬惠霖 - 主要科研成果
八十年代初參加固氮酶研究后,對于N2、乙炔和環(huán)丙烯在固氮酶原子簇活性中心的多核絡(luò)合活化方式應(yīng)用量子化學(xué)計(jì)算方法進(jìn)行了對比研究,因而為固氮酶活口M-簇籠新見解的形成提供了重要依據(jù)。萬早在研究生時(shí)期就參與配位催化的基礎(chǔ)研究,后來又在專著中詳細(xì)闡述了配位催化原理。七十至八十年代,他還與同事一起,在乙烯配位聚合負(fù)載型高效催化劑的研制,丙烯選擇(氨)氧化副產(chǎn)物形成機(jī)理,以及氨合成反應(yīng)對鐵催化劑結(jié)構(gòu)敏感性的理論探索等研究工作中也取得顯著成績。他在國內(nèi)、外刊物已發(fā)表論文180余篇,出版專著1本;獲國家自然科學(xué)三等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng),國家教委科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng)和二等獎(jiǎng)2項(xiàng);獲發(fā)明專利6項(xiàng)。
