生平
沃恩側(cè)身于玄學(xué)派詩人之列，受喬治·赫伯特影響較大，然而他有自己的風(fēng)格：一是對(duì)天真無邪的童年之向往，二是對(duì)自然環(huán)境有敏感的反應(yīng)。沃恩詩歌的這兩大特點(diǎn)對(duì)后來的浪漫主義詩人華茲華斯有很大影響。沃恩的主要著作有詩集《矽土的火花》或稱《圣詩集》（1650）（Silex Scintillans: or Sacred Poems and Pious Ejaculations）。
