詳細介紹
丹尼斯在美國的北加州出生和長大，高中畢業(yè)后他被提供以各種體育類獎學(xué)金，但他卻選擇了去American Academy of Dramatic Arts學(xué)習(xí)演戲。1979年，27歲的丹尼斯正式展開表演生涯，首個角色是客串出演《The White S Dennis Haysbert
hadow》里面的一位籃球運動員，此后它又出現(xiàn)在了《Lou Grant》、《Laverne & Shirley》、《The A-Team》、《Magnum》、《P.I.》、《Buck Rogers》以及《Duckman》等劇集當(dāng)中，直到2001年成功扮演《24小時》中后來成為總統(tǒng)的黑人參議員一角，總共演出了3季。之后他又在CBS《The Unit》（秘密行動組）當(dāng)中作為主角出現(xiàn)，依然是塑造充滿了個人英雄主義色彩的高大形象。
丹尼斯·海斯伯曾經(jīng)有過兩段婚姻，和第一任妻子生的兩個孩子目前和他一起生活。此外他在對抗艾滋病領(lǐng)域一直積極貢獻著自己的力量，曾擔(dān)任Harlem(紐約黑人住宅區(qū)) Health Expo "Break the Silence"、national leadership commission on AIDS、以及the western center on law and poverty的活動發(fā)言人。
