1983年7月華南農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)植物遺傳育種學(xué)專業(yè)畢業(yè),獲農(nóng)學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。
工作經(jīng)歷
在中國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)院作物育種栽培研究所從事水稻抗病育種及其基礎(chǔ)研究;1991年5月自費(fèi)赴日本京都大學(xué)留學(xué),并分別于1994年3月和1998年3月獲農(nóng)學(xué)碩士和農(nóng)學(xué)博士學(xué)位;隨后,在泰國(guó)科技開發(fā)署生物技術(shù)中心從事博士后研究;1999年10月31日作為國(guó)外引進(jìn)人才返回華南農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)工作,1999年12月起任該校植物病理學(xué)、植物遺傳育種學(xué)和微生物學(xué)教授,博士生導(dǎo)師。2005年受聘為廣東省特聘教授,并被評(píng)為“珠江學(xué)者”。

學(xué)術(shù)成果
在回國(guó)九年多時(shí)間里,主持了包括國(guó)家“863”計(jì)劃、國(guó)家“973”計(jì)劃、國(guó)家重大科技專項(xiàng)“功能基因組和生物芯片”、國(guó)家轉(zhuǎn)基因植物產(chǎn)業(yè)化專項(xiàng)、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金在內(nèi)的科研項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng);已經(jīng)與國(guó)內(nèi)外10多個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)室建立了具實(shí)質(zhì)性的合作關(guān)系。
專業(yè)成就
完成了20余個(gè)群體近2000個(gè)稻瘟病菌株的遺傳結(jié)構(gòu)及致病型結(jié)構(gòu)的比較分析;鑒定了水稻稻瘟病新抗病基因14個(gè),其中3個(gè)基因已被克。昏b定了稻瘟病菌無毒基因16個(gè),其中5個(gè)基因已被克隆。此外,還精細(xì)定位了水稻稻飛虱新抗蟲基因1個(gè);穗型基因1個(gè)。目前,已經(jīng)申請(qǐng)了基因發(fā)明專利5個(gè)。在國(guó)內(nèi)外重要雜志(一級(jí)刊物以上,第一作者或通訊作者)發(fā)表論文20余篇;參編著作4部。
