人物經(jīng)歷
1982年,在華南理工大學(xué)機(jī)械工程專業(yè)獲學(xué)士學(xué)位,1985年獲碩士學(xué)位,1988年獲化學(xué)工程博士學(xué)位。
1989年至1995年,分別在德國(guó)斯圖加特大學(xué),英國(guó)貝爾法斯特女王大學(xué),紐卡斯?fàn)柎髮W(xué)和謝菲爾德大學(xué)任職。
1995年起,受聘于愛爾蘭國(guó)立都柏林大學(xué)(UCD),成為在愛爾蘭第一個(gè)獲得永久教職的華人,并且以最短的時(shí)間從講師晉升為高級(jí)講師、副教授和正教授。當(dāng)前,孫大文博士是愛爾蘭都柏林大學(xué)食品和生物系統(tǒng)工程教授,領(lǐng)導(dǎo)著食品冷凍及計(jì)算機(jī)化食品技術(shù)研究團(tuán)隊(duì),是愛爾蘭有史以來(lái)的第一位華人終身教授。

科研成就
研究方向:新興食品加工技術(shù);食品干燥、冷卻、冷凍、冷藏技術(shù);果蔬儲(chǔ)藏與保鮮技術(shù);食品加工過(guò)程的模擬,優(yōu)化和控制;食品檢測(cè)的計(jì)算機(jī)視覺技術(shù)
他的主要研究包括制冷、冷凍及干燥過(guò)程和系統(tǒng)、食品質(zhì)量與安全、生物過(guò)程模擬和優(yōu)化以及計(jì)算機(jī)視覺識(shí)別技術(shù)等。尤其值得指出的是,他在真空冷卻熟肉制品、計(jì)算機(jī)視覺檢測(cè)比薩餅質(zhì)量、采用可食用膜技術(shù)實(shí)現(xiàn)果蔬貨價(jià)期延長(zhǎng)等方面具有世界領(lǐng)先的開創(chuàng)性成就,得到了國(guó)內(nèi)外媒體的廣泛報(bào)導(dǎo)。他在世界上著名雜志和國(guó)際會(huì)議上發(fā)表了900多篇高水平論文,出版專著15部,其中超過(guò)500篇論文被SCI收錄(H指數(shù)=81)。
超快速食品冷卻技術(shù)
首次采用了冷卻機(jī)理完全不同的真空冷卻方法,實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果證明真空冷卻對(duì)熟肉制品及即食食品都具有極其明顯的超快速效果,獲得了突破性成果。例如,采用該技術(shù)可以將熟肉制品(5至7公斤)在約一個(gè)半小時(shí)內(nèi)從72度冷卻到4度,在大幅度增加生產(chǎn)效率的同時(shí)極大地提高了產(chǎn)品的質(zhì)量和安全性,而使用常規(guī)的工業(yè)界冷卻方法一般需要15個(gè)小時(shí)。該研究一直處于世界領(lǐng)先地位,得到國(guó)際同行及西方食品工業(yè)界的密切關(guān)注。
食品快速質(zhì)量檢測(cè)計(jì)算機(jī)視覺系統(tǒng)
計(jì)算機(jī)視覺系統(tǒng)對(duì)比薩餅及其它食品的快速質(zhì)量檢測(cè)的系列研究開創(chuàng)了對(duì)食品特別是復(fù)雜的比薩餅的生產(chǎn)質(zhì)量和屬性進(jìn)行自動(dòng)檢測(cè)的應(yīng)用先例。該系統(tǒng)以計(jì)算機(jī)的自動(dòng)化和高速處理代替了以往人工的方法,促使食品的生產(chǎn)和檢測(cè)跟上了現(xiàn)代高科技的發(fā)展。
食品涂膜保鮮
首次研究出一種全新的用大豆蛋白等研制成無(wú)色無(wú)味和透明的可食用涂膜溶液,對(duì)水果和蔬菜進(jìn)行涂膜保鮮,可明顯延長(zhǎng)產(chǎn)品的貨架期。這種包裝膜無(wú)色無(wú)味和透明并且可食用,不會(huì)對(duì)產(chǎn)品外觀及質(zhì)量產(chǎn)生任何影響,使用方法也相當(dāng)簡(jiǎn)便,只需要將果蔬產(chǎn)品在包裝溶液中泡浸一下即可完成,為當(dāng)前食品包裝技術(shù)向高效率高環(huán)保的方向發(fā)展奠定了堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。這一技術(shù)經(jīng)《新科學(xué)家》雜志報(bào)道后,再次引起了工業(yè)界的高度重視,被視為食品包裝技術(shù)的革命。

先后于2000年和2006年被素有農(nóng)業(yè)工程界的“奧林匹克”之稱的國(guó)際農(nóng)業(yè)工程委員會(huì)(International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering,CIGR)授予CIGR杰出獎(jiǎng),2007年被授予印度食品科學(xué)家及技術(shù)人員協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)士(AFST(I) Fellow Award)榮譽(yù)稱號(hào),2008年獲CIGR成就獎(jiǎng),2010年被授予國(guó)際農(nóng)業(yè)工程委員會(huì)會(huì)士(CIGR Fellow Award)榮譽(yù)稱號(hào),并于2004年被英國(guó)皇家機(jī)械工程師學(xué)會(huì)授予“食品工程師年度人物(Food Engineer of the Year Award)”大獎(jiǎng)。2010年12月底,被全球32個(gè)國(guó)家的152家中文媒體共同評(píng)為“2010年全球海外華人社區(qū)十大新聞人物”。2013年3月,他獲頒由鳳凰衛(wèi)視,中國(guó)新聞社等兩岸三地富有影響力的十余家華文媒體共同評(píng)選的2012-2013世界因你而美麗——“影響世界華人大獎(jiǎng)”,與諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)得主莫言、神舟九號(hào)飛行乘組等獲獎(jiǎng)個(gè)人和團(tuán)體同臺(tái)領(lǐng)獎(jiǎng)。2013年5月,他又榮獲國(guó)際食品保護(hù)協(xié)會(huì)(IAFP)頒發(fā)的冷凍食品基金會(huì)冷凍研究獎(jiǎng)(Frozen Food Foundation Freezing Research Award),成為美國(guó)本土以外首位獲得該著名獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)的科學(xué)家。2015年6月,他又被授予國(guó)際工程與食品協(xié)會(huì)(International Association of Engineering and Food,IAEF)終身成就獎(jiǎng)(IAEF LifetimeAchievement Award),這一獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)是為表彰世界上杰出工程師為食品工程貢獻(xiàn)一生而設(shè)立的。2015年12月,榮獲湯森路透2015高被引科學(xué)家稱號(hào),2016年6月,他又被授予國(guó)際農(nóng)業(yè)與生物系統(tǒng)工程委員會(huì)(CIGR)榮譽(yù)主席稱號(hào)。2016年11月,他再次榮獲“湯森路透2016高被引科學(xué)家”稱號(hào)。
2010年,他當(dāng)選為代表愛爾蘭國(guó)家最高學(xué)術(shù)榮譽(yù)和成就巔峰的的愛爾蘭皇家科學(xué)院(Royal Irish Academy)院士。時(shí)任中共中央政治局委員、中央書記處書記、中央組織部部長(zhǎng)現(xiàn)任中華人民共和國(guó)副主席李源潮同志特委托中組部發(fā)去賀信表示祝賀,盛贊孫大文“為中華兒女爭(zhēng)了光,”“為推動(dòng)中國(guó)食品技術(shù)的發(fā)展,培養(yǎng)年輕人才,付出了大量心血,做出了重要貢獻(xiàn)!蓖辏之(dāng)選為國(guó)際農(nóng)業(yè)工程委員會(huì)即任主席,任期從2011年元月開始,并于2013年起接任主席,他成為國(guó)際農(nóng)業(yè)工程委員會(huì)成立82年以來(lái)的首位華人主席。 2011年,他再獲殊榮,被光榮增選為歐洲人文和自然科學(xué)院(Academia Europaea)院士,成為首次當(dāng)選該院院士的歐洲華人科學(xué)家,同時(shí)也成為歐洲歷史上首位擁有兩院院士的華人。2012年,他又當(dāng)選為國(guó)際食品科學(xué)院(IAFoST)院士,為全球共增選的22名院士中唯一來(lái)自愛爾蘭的學(xué)者。2016年12月,他當(dāng)選為國(guó)際農(nóng)業(yè)與生物系統(tǒng)工程科學(xué)院(iAABE)首任院長(zhǎng),成為iAABE的創(chuàng)院院長(zhǎng),同時(shí)也成為iAABE現(xiàn)有33名院士之一。
根據(jù)湯森路透集團(tuán)出版發(fā)行的基本科學(xué)指標(biāo)(Essential Science Indicators)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)有關(guān)全球農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)家排名,在匯集和分析過(guò)去十年Web of Science所收錄SCI論文系統(tǒng)的數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì),全球共有四千多名科學(xué)家排名進(jìn)入農(nóng)業(yè)科學(xué)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域前1%的“被引用次數(shù)最多的科學(xué)家”(Most Cited Scientists),其中孫大文多年來(lái)一直名列前茅,位列第26名(2015.1),按“高被引論文(HIGHLYCITEDPAPERS)”排名,全球排名第一(2015.8)。

2016年12月,從廣東省僑辦獲悉,最近,國(guó)際農(nóng)業(yè)與生物系統(tǒng)工程科學(xué)院(International Academy of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering,簡(jiǎn)稱iAABE)對(duì)該科學(xué)院理事會(huì)進(jìn)行了選舉,著名華人科學(xué)家,歐洲人文和自然科學(xué)院院士、愛爾蘭皇家科學(xué)院院士、國(guó)際食品科學(xué)院院士孫大文當(dāng)選為iAABE首任院長(zhǎng),成為iAABE的創(chuàng)院院長(zhǎng)。同時(shí)孫大文成為iAABE現(xiàn)有33名院士之一。
